Venturing into the world of movie trailers has been nothing but a whole lot of fun. Mediajuice partnered with Well Go USA late last year to begin creating trailers for some of their biggest upcoming movies and “IP Man” was at the top of that list. Our client wanted a trailer that would capture not only the great story of IP Man but the epic fight scenes and amazing cinematography the movie offers. The Mediajuice team cut together an original music track, custom text effects and applied a seasoned editing hand to the various scenes in the trailer. The trailer turned out terrific and the client was thrilled, which is a win-win in our book! Check out the Official US premiere trailer for Well Go USA’s IP Man.
Creating the official US film trailer for 9th Company has been a real honor and pleasure. It is an amazing movie. Our goal was to communicate visually and audibly the powerful story as well as the visceral action captured in the battle sequences. After transferring the master film to a usable digital intermediate, we began creating the HD text graphics and original music track. We also enlisted a talented VO talent in Chris Sabat. All these elements came together nicely to form the official US film trailer for 9th Company. Take a look at the trailer and let us know what you think!
When CDV approached the Mediajuice team to handle the Divinity II: Ego Draconis campaign, we were very excited. Divinity II is a very unique game with tons of great features and a very intriguing story, so coming up with concepts and creative for it was a real pleasure. The Mediajuice team handled turnkey creative and production for three retail exclusive trailers, a full TV campaign, the official launch trailer, print campaign, and all the online ads for Divinity II. In addition, we produced a 9 part exclusive vignette series which has been well received online. In the end, the client was very pleased, and Mediajuice did what we do best! Check out a behind-the-scenes look at all we produced for Divinity II by watching the video.

One thing I have learned over the years is that a compelling message has to contain equal parts of creative uniqueness and production excellence. This is the measuring stick I use for anything we produce here at Mediajuice. Is the idea uniquely creative? Is the message fresh? Can we execute it with high production value? If the answer is YES, I know we are onto something. We use this same methodology for TV spots, web videos, and yes even the corporate videos. The reason is simple. Whether the demographic is an 11-year-old boy or a 45-year-old executive, they both have one thing in common: they both want to “feel,” they want to be “wowed.” Who says corporate videos have to be boring? Here’s a look at a few of our favorite corporate videos we have produced over the years.
Over the past several months, Mediajuice has been working on a series of vignettes for Capcom’s much-anticipated Marvel vs. Capcom 2 release. The Mediajuice team utilized all our resident production skills to produce this six-part series and collaborated with Udon for the amazing illustrations you see in each episode. A live action shoot, custom motion graphics and animation, gameplay capture, editing, and original music were all a part of what brought this innovative series to life. You can watch a special behind-the-scenes podcast of the making of this series here:
Wow! What a fun game to work on. For anyone who loves Marvel comics and Capcom games, you are probably no stranger to Marvel vs. Capcom 2. It has had a cult following since its release in the arcades in the 90’s. Needless to say, we were really pumped to work on the video campaign for Capcom’s re-release of this epic title. The first trailer Capcom commissioned us to produce was a teaser/announcement trailer to let the world know that MVC2 is on its way back to gaming consoles everywhere. Because of the nostalgia attached to this title, we worked closely with Capcom to license a music track from the 1989 Transformers animated movie entitled “The Touch” by Stan Bush. Originally, this song played over Optimus Prime and Megatron’s final epic battle in the movie. But we have used it a bit differently for our teaser trailer. Take a look and let us know what you think!
The history between Atari and Mediajuice goes back to 2002 when I met a man named Matt Collins at Atari while I was working at FUNimation (pre Mediajuice). Matt saw potential in Mediajuice when I first launched the studio, and although there is much to say for the time between then and now, the rest is as they say…history! Mediajuice and Atari history, that is! Take a look at a small sampling of the work Mediajuice has produced for Atari over the past 5 years, and be sure to watch/listen to the historical commentary too!
